  Well the man on the phone hung up on me because he couldn't understand what I was saying. I called back and he did not have any part of my order.
  
  It is too bad because I like the original Lams kitchen. I thought it was the best chinese food in the city of Amsterdam. Unfortunately, I can't get beyond the customer service aspect to even call in for pick up.

  It's true that communication is a challenge here, but it's really sad to see so many poor reviews based solely on the owner's grasp of English. If you're looking for consistently delicious Chinese food, overly generous portion sizes, and fast takeout times, this is without a doubt my favorite place in town. Even though I can't understand them well at all, the owners are SO kind every time I stop in.
