  Honestly, we heard great things about Parillo's. When we arrived, however, we stood in the entryway for 10 minutes listening to two women in the kitchen area complain about working there before we finally walked out having never been noticed. La Cucina is a stones throw away.

  Excellent food. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Classy and interesting decor with beautiful stained glass lighting and antiques. Best Vodka Rigatoni ever.

  This place is the epitome of Class. Jackie is amazing!!!
  I had to drive an hour for a CPR class in Amsterdam that was from 6pm-10pm. Starving, I set out to find a place still serving food. Parillo's was not serving, but asked what my situation was. Not only did they make me dinner so I wouldn't go hungry for my drive but the Meatballs were DELICIOUS

  I wanted to like it. It was me who picked the restaurant to go to for my birthday dinner. I had heard good things here and there. I have lived locally all of my life, yet had never been to the Armory Grill. Such a disappointment. I ordered sausage and peppers catticcorri. I got chicken and peppers catticcorri. Had to wait ten minutes for it to be rectified while my dinner companions already had their dinner in front of them. Its also worth it to note that neither of them were impressed, either. Very skimpy portions for the price. When I finally did receive my corrected meal, it consisted of some sliced sausage and five or six measly slices of peppers smothered in sauce. To be honest, I think the sauce made up most of the meal. So NOT impressed, but I am glad I went. Now I know never to go again. I would have gotten a better meal at the Amsterdam Diner.
